This is your opportunity to learn to sew, flex your creativity, have some fun crafting and take home some special, unique items and garments, made by you! Each session we will have a special project to work on (patterns and fabrics included). If you'd like to work on a project that takes longer you can use these sessions for extra help on that journey. All sewing levels welcome! Sarah Sew Love is a self-proclaimed “hype girl for YOUR sustainable sewing journey”! She’s been sewing, blogging, gramming and teaching sewing for over 10 years through her sewcial enterprise Sew Love and she’s now calling Tauranga home. Sarah’s known for popping up workshops all over NZ; alongside markets, conferences, schools, community houses & recycle centres to share her passion for sewing skills and sustainable living. “DIYing the reusables we need, repairing the things we love, embracing sewing slow and sewing together with others - it all makes our lives more special!” In recent years she’s mostly known for her sellout upcycled scrap bum bags and dancing around on instagram but hosting workshops is her homebase of happiness. Rest assured the energy is just the same in real life so come join one of her workshops this winter in our Social Fabric room. With big smiles and rainbow fabric scraps, her workshops always provide a safe space and encouragement for everyone’s creativity and self-expression through sewing. Loneliness and social isolation, relationship breakdown, financial pressure, unemployment, chronic illness, loss of identity or purpose, and simply feeling that there is nobody you can really talk to can all have a profound effect on how men cope. In From Striving to Thriving, Dr Adam Harrison explores social factors that can strengthen or undermine men’s mental wellness, and looks at practical steps individuals, families, and communities can take to help men build greater connection, support, and resilience.

Join us for a summer evening on the water, beginning with a welcome drink and buffet dinner at Trinity Wharf before boarding Bay Explorer for a two-hour sunset cruise across Tauranga Harbour. Enjoy music, onboard bar and stunning views of Mauao, Matakana Island, the Port of Tauranga and Kaimai Ranges. Includes welcome drink, buffet dinner and dessert, and sunset cruise.

Following their highly successful Saturday Night Fever Tour in 2025, the Best of the Bee Gees returns to Tauranga on Sunday 28th February to honour the Bee Gees album, “Greatest”, with iconic disco, ballads and songs written by the brothers for other legends. Endorsed by the Gibb family and original Bee Gees musicians, the core trio of Evan Webster (Barry Gibb), Russell Davey (Robin Gibb) and Greg Wain (Maurice Gibb), will be joined by special guests Cousins Gibb - Nick Endacott Gibb (Maurice Gibb’s son) and Debora McLane (Bee Gees’ niece). Evan Webster is the creator, producer and co-ordinator of the Best of the Bee Gees and has portrayed Barry Gibb for almost 3 decades, performing with his ‘on the road family’ throughout Australia, New Zealand, Manila, the UK and more.
