Art, coffee & slow time, right in the heart of Tauranga
The Painted Table is a new creative studio on Willow Street, created by local mother-and-daughter Andrea Green and Lizzie Maxwell. It’s a place to slow down, make something with your hands and enjoy time together — with creative projects for all ages and all levels of experience. Simply choose something you love from the seasonal Creative Menu, take a seat at the table, and everything you need is ready for you. Every project includes a drink, so you can settle in with a plunger coffee, tea, hot chocolate or something cold while you create.

Te Ao Mārama – Tauranga library
Think of the city library as a community hub! When visiting, you can access council customer services, free wi-fi, free computer sessions, free scanning, cheap photocopying and printing rates, free weekly digital help drop-ins, and free community services drop-ins—including JP visits. You’re also free to browse and enjoy an amazing array of things to read, watch, listen to, play with, and learn from. The library hosts hundreds of free events each year for children and adults, including school holiday programmes, author talks, and so much more.
