Featuring DJ Dave Share spinning feel-good dance hits at the newly reopened Toi Tauranga Art Gallery, this is your invitation to move, sweat, and wake up properly. Come dressed to move, bring your water bottle, and immerse yourself in lights and sound in the heart of the CBD. The ‘Morning Rave’ concept has swept through Europe and America, offering an alternative to the nightclub as the only place to enjoy dance music. Fueled by coffee, connection, and great tunes, these events transform early mornings from a chore into a celebration — energising your body, sharpening your mind, and setting the tone for the rest of the day. No hangovers. No late nights. Just rhythm, movement, and a fresh start.

Celebrations run from 23 February – 1 March, with a full week of family-friendly activities delivered by incredible partners and venues across the city. Everything builds toward the hero city centre takeover on Sunday 1 March, where the city centre is reimagined as a massive playground filled with creativity, music, discovery, imagination and adventure for all ages. Bring your whānau and make a day of it in the city centre. It’s all free and not one you’ll want to miss.
