Lines and Lyrics runs twice a month, at Greerton and Tauranga library
An invitation to poets and poets-to-be.

Meetings are informal, but focused sessions, that can help you with your poetry, both writing and performance, by interacting with others and learning from their responses. Whatever kind of poetry you write, whoever you are writing for, you will be most welcome. Open to everyone, from beginners to experienced writers. If you are interested in joining a group that offers friendly and helpful feedback, Lines and Lyrics is for you. Basically, sessions are nominally facilitated by two established poets, Pip Sheehan and Shona-Ellen Barnett, who have many years of experience between them. However, as equals, each of us will be encouraged to contribute our own input and responses as we listen and learn together.This is a community initiative supported by Te Ao Mārama – Tauranga City Libraries and all queries and registrations should be directed to Shona Barnett or Pip Sheehan - info.linesandlyrics@gmail.com

Activity
These school holidays, BayActive has plenty of fun lined up to keep your kids active and entertained at The University of Waikato Haumaru Sport & Recreation Centre! Holiday Tumble Time runs from 9:30am to 12:00pm and is suitable for children up to 13 years old, including both primary and intermediate ages. Please note that children must be supervised by a parent or caregiver at all times. Tumble Time offers a variety of activities designed to help children develop physical skills such as balance, coordination, climbing, agility, and fine motor skills. It’s also a great way for kids to build social confidence in a group setting, and for parents to meet new friends.
