Lines and Lyrics runs twice a month, at Greerton and Tauranga library
An invitation to poets and poets-to-be.
Meetings are informal, but focused sessions, that can help you with your poetry, both writing and performance, by interacting with others and learning from their responses. Whatever kind of poetry you write, whoever you are writing for, you will be most welcome. Open to everyone, from beginners to experienced writers. If you are interested in joining a group that offers friendly and helpful feedback, Lines and Lyrics is for you. Basically, sessions are nominally facilitated by two established poets, Pip Sheehan and Shona-Ellen Barnett, who have many years of experience between them. However, as equals, each of us will be encouraged to contribute our own input and responses as we listen and learn together. This is a community initiative supported by Te Ao Mārama – Tauranga City Libraries and all queries and registrations should be directed to Jenny Argante - info.redhenbooks@gmail.com
