Join Tessa Papadopoulos from Roots Regeneration for a free, hands-on workshop and discover how simple it can be to turn everyday food scraps into healthy compost for your garden. Whether you're completely new to composting or looking for a simpler approach that works for your household, this workshop will help you build confidence and understand the foundations of successful home composting.

School Holiday Tumble Time - Haumaru

These school holidays, BayActive has plenty of fun lined up to keep your kids active and entertained at The University of Waikato Haumaru Sport & Recreation Centre! Holiday Tumble Time runs from 9:30am to 12:00pm and is suitable for children up to 13 years old, including both primary and intermediate ages. Please note that children must be supervised by a parent or caregiver at all times. Tumble Time offers a variety of activities designed to help children develop physical skills such as balance, coordination, climbing, agility, and fine motor skills. It’s also a great way for kids to build social confidence in a group setting, and for parents to meet new friends.
