Barrels By the Bay – Tauranga’s Premier Whisky Experience is back at The Cargo Shed for 2026!
Whether you're a longtime collector or simply enjoy a well-poured glass, you’ll find plenty to discover, straight from the cask to your glass. Wander, swirl, and sample your way through a curated lineup of standout whiskies, from homegrown craft pours to international classics. Meet the makers, compare notes, and enjoy the kind of whisky conversations that only happen over a good pour.
Your ticket includes samples from all exhibiting brands, plus access to a fully stocked on-site bar serving up your favourite drams in signature cocktails.

These school holidays, BayActive has plenty of fun lined up to keep your kids active and entertained at The University of Waikato Haumaru Sport & Recreation Centre! Holiday Tumble Time runs from 9:30am to 12:00pm and is suitable for children up to 13 years old, including both primary and intermediate ages. Please note that children must be supervised by a parent or caregiver at all times. Tumble Time offers a variety of activities designed to help children develop physical skills such as balance, coordination, climbing, agility, and fine motor skills. It’s also a great way for kids to build social confidence in a group setting, and for parents to meet new friends.
