The Debut — Our first Eats 'n' Beats Community Dinner
Well, this is it.
After all the planning, organising and getting the word out, Eats ’n’ Beats is ready to make its debut. Friday, 2 October is our very first night at Jordan Field — the beginning of a summer of community dinners in the park.
We’re calling it The Debut.
There'll be another first happening on the night too. Our prospective resident DJs will be stepping behind the decks and playing to the Eats ’n’ Beats crowd as we look for someone to join us for the summer. But most importantly, this is our first dinner together. Bring the whānau, bring some friends, grab some dinner and come be part of the very first Eats ’n’ Beats.

Talk / lecture
Join us at Tauranga Club for an evening with candidates from Tauranga and Mount Maunganui. Hear directly from those putting their names forward about the issues and priorities that matter to our local communities. The evening will provide an opportunity to listen, learn more about the candidates and their views, and ask questions in a relaxed club setting. Whether you’re already engaged in local politics or simply interested in learning more about the people representing our community, everyone is welcome to come along.

Join the Tauranga Civic Choir for a lunchtime of easy listening favourites. Enjoy beautiful harmonies, timeless melodies, and a delightful selection of well-loved songs performed by one of Tauranga’s cherished community choirs. Sit back, relax, and let the music lift your spirits as we celebrate the opening of He Puna Manawa Library and Community Hub.
