Norris and Bell will be hosting a Junior Chef Competition for kids aged 8 - 13 years old during the coming school holidays!
Simply, upload your junior's dish and explanation on your Instagram or Facebook and tag @norrisandbell. Entry will cut off on the 10th of July 2021.
Norris and Bell will contact you if your junior is chosen as one of the 12 candidates.
The second round will be a live cooking session at Norris and Bell kitchen with a chef's assistant between 12th -15th July (3-4 candidates per day). During this session, the junior chefs will create their own dish with just 10 ingredients (excluding salt, pepper, vinegar, oil, and butter) within 90 minutes. Norris and Bell will require a simple ingredients list for your dish, a plan, and the name of your dish. (Family can be involved in brainstorming!)
During the final round, 3 candidates will be live cooking at Norris and Bell on 22nd July! Ingredients will be unrestricted - just come up with your own dish within 2 hours allowing for 3 servings for the judges!
The final winner's dish will be on Norris and Bell's Saturday night menu as a special (24th July) and should the winner wish to they may join the Norris and Bell team as a volunteer - working on making your dish and serving it to customers for a couple of hours + the winner will receive their name engraved on a chef knife, a $100 CBK Tauranga voucher, a $100 Norris and Bell voucher and a $100 prezzy card!
