This is the redevelopment of the Regional Council offices and Emergency Response Centre for Bay of Plenty Group Civil Defence.  The building will incorporate new environmentally sustainable design features including photovoltaic (solar) panels, a wind turbine and rain water harvesting.

Streetscape upgrading works are underway to create pedestrian friendly spaces aligning to the new University of Waikato city centre campus.

This project involves an upgrade to the current building’s façade including the construction of 20 new feature pod balconies, with bold chromatic tiger orange ACM panel cladding. The interior contains an open plan office space with an upgraded main entrance.
